2022 Projects

Paper Ghosts (2023) | A Festive Artist Residency at Eden Court, titled: Folklore and Yuletide, which began in October 2022. During the residency, I devised a play with a new performer in response to the festive season, using puppetry and physical theatre.

Play Pretend (R&D 2022) | directing a R&D of the new play by Katie Fraser, produced by Framework Theatre

Katie Fraser’s gorgeous play has been a delight to work with throughout its development and I look forward to its upcoming production. Her play-within-a-play convention elegantly navigates the misogyny which pervades the narratives of women in history, framing the tale of Flora MacDonald and Bonnie Prince Charlie within the context of contemporary power dynamics and gender roles.
