Play Pretend (2023) | This new play by Katie Fraser explores the story of Flora MacDonald and Bonnie Prince Charlie through a Feminist lens. Play Pretend, produced by Framework Theatre in association with Traverse Theatre, came to the Trav2 stage on the 24th and 25th November, 2023 for a sold-out 2-night run.

Warriors (2023) | This is a devising R&D to create a stage adaptation of the book: Warriors and Witches and Damn Rebel Bitches by Mairi Kidd. Produced by Emma Ruse and written by Ellen Bradbury

How to Train Your Dad to Be a Feminist (2023) | This is a new play by Sophie Wink; set around a dinner table, a young woman navigates challenging conversations with her father, exploring how the misogyny of our parents impacts our identities.

ROOTS Festival (2023) | This was the first annual festival for emerging and Highland theatre-makers. The festival took place on the 28th and 29th September 2023 in Inverness with 14 events, including: talks from industry professionals, skill-building workshops, graduate performances, and a scratch night. UNCONInverness (2023) | I produced the first ever regional UNCON in the Highlands as part of my work with the National Youth Arts Advisory Group (Creative Scotland). Find out more here.

Research

Artist/Researcher with GHAT (2023) | Researching sustainable models for arts delivery in rural areas within the context of wellbeing.

FUTURES (2023) | This research was undertaken on behalf of Vivid Roots Collective. I used focus groups to evidence the needs of emerging theatre-makers in the Highlands and invited industry stakeholders to an Inverness-based event to discuss and workshop a draft report. Read the report here.
