Creative Directing

Play Pretend (R&D 2022) | directing a R&D of the new play by Katie Fraser, produced by Framework Theatre

Katie Fraser’s gorgeous play has been a delight to work with throughout its development and I look forward to its upcoming production. Her play-within-a-play convention elegantly navigates the misogyny which pervades the narratives of women in history, framing the tale of Flora MacDonald and Bonnie Prince Charlie within the context of contemporary power dynamics and gender roles.
